Hey, I'm Spencer!
I taught kindergarten and first grade for six years, where many of my students started behind in reading. That experience taught me how to spot what a child already knows, what they can skip, and what they need next.
With that approach, 60% of my students grew at least a year and a half in reading, and more than half scored at or above the 82nd percentile.
I later used the same process with my own son, who read his first word at 25 months.
