Are the books for my child to read? Or for me to read to my child?
Great question! Decodable books are designed to give your little one practice sounding out words. If you read the books to your kid, they'll memorize the words instead. So let them read to you!
What age are the books best for?
Reading is about STAGE, not AGE. So think about your child's current skill level instead of how old they are. If they can blend at least three-sound words (like dog), they're ready for a set of books!
My kid isn't reading at all yet. Should I wait to buy the books?
